So on the first day we went through orientation and my head and stomach were absolutely killing me!! I was trying to tough it out and not let anyone know i was sick but it became too much at around 7 and they sent me to the nurses office :( They began taking my vitals and all of that garbage and realized that i had a fever of 102 so they had to send me to the Emergency room to get some help. This was unbelievable... my first day at the MTC and i would be at the hospital? No bueno! While we were there, a girl came in and asked us to give her a blessing which was pretty cool, he appendix burst during surgery but she survived!
The food here is pretty good but definitely not what i expected to be eating haha. I guess i am just so picky because my stomach has been so sensitive to the food and i can only eat certain things without making it very upset. (I have been given some pills that have been helping) Thursday and Friday were awesome even though we spent 10 hours in class we love learning because we know it will benefit us so much out in the mission field. Its weird to think that on monday i will be leaving for the Colombian MTC, i'm so grateful I have had the opportunity to be in provo and see how everything works here because its awesome! I'm actually not on the main campus at the MTC, i am on the West Campus. (Which is by far the best one) because we are all spanish speakers here and everyone is so friendly.
It's pretty crazy, me and my district have all been called to serve in the Bogota Colombia sur Mission and there are only 8 of us in the entire United states that have been called there. Isn't that pretty nuts? Please be sure to pray for my health becuase When i go to Colomba i am sure the doctors will not be nearly as good. haha Please keep me updated on what is happening at home so i don't feel like im completely out of the loop. You would be happy to know that the work is going forward quickly. Love you all so much and thank you for supporting me.
Love
